Qubit is a new service offering tag management, analytics, automation and personalisation in one suite of products.
Founded by four ex Google employees in 2010 in London, Qubit promises to increase online business results by measuring the entire customer journey.
It’s sort of like a much smarter version of Google Analytics with added personal insights into your customers.
It’s made up of three core product areas, with each one split into several sub services.
The first is tag management, if you haven’t heard of tag management before, it’s basically a way of managing all the different plugins, javasript and services you might add to your site from one central location.
EG: If you’re using customer review services from one vendor, commenting from another and say social media services from a third, tag management supposedly allows you to better manage them, easily implement and change them, and speed up your site performance as well.
Qubit’s claim here is that it will map the customer’s entire journey and identify where you can improve the process. The end result being greater sales, better customer experience and more efficient marketing.
The service includes automatic attribution, usability testing and customer feedback solutions.
Automation and Personalisation
This includes the now essential A/B and Multivariate testing options. Plus, Qubit is offering automated personalisation so that the right content is served to the right customer at the right time.
It all sounds rather wonderful if you’re a data or analytics hound, and probably worth investigating if you’re already generating reasonable revenue and business from your website
